PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS

CONSTRUCTION WATERPROOF POLYMER EMULSION COATING SCOPE OF APPLICATION:

This product is suitable for waterproofing of industrial and civil building roofs, underground, water tanks, reservoirs, and other engineering projects. It is especially ideal for complex structures with many irregular shapes, as well as waterproofing in kitchens and bathrooms.

CONSTRUCTION WATERPROOF POLYMER EMULSION COATING CONSTRUCTION KEY POINTS:

Substrate Preparation: The waterproof substrate should be treated as per design specifications, with a 1:3 cement mortar mix to form a proper slope for drainage. The surface must be smooth and free of defects such as unevenness, looseness, or sand shedding. Drainage outlets or floor drain locations should be lower than the entire waterproof layer to facilitate water removal. Pipe areas with sleeves should be raised at least 20mm above the substrate. Corners should have a small radius of 10mm for smooth application of the coating.

Local Reinforcement: For expansion joints, control joints, corners, and pipe penetrations, a reinforcing fabric should be added, followed by full waterproofing construction after curing.

First Layer Application: After the base primer has dried and cured, apply a uniform layer of coating using a plastic or rubber scraper. The coating should be even and consistent, neither too thick nor too thin, with a recommended thickness of around 0.8mm. The application direction should be planned in advance according to the area size and shape to ensure smooth work progress.

Second Layer Application: Once the first layer is fully cured, apply a second layer using the same method. To ensure the quality of the waterproofing, the application direction of the second layer must be perpendicular to the first layer. The re-coating time should be based on the temperature during construction and the curing level (touch test: non-sticky).

CONSTRUCTION WATERPROOF POLYMER EMULSION COATING PRECAUTIONS:

Work Environment: The construction site should be well-ventilated, and the temperature should be above 5°C. Do not apply the coating in rainy or snowy weather.

Mixing Components: The components A and B should be mixed on-site, and the prepared material must be used before curing begins. Do not use material that has started to cure.

Curing Speed: The curing speed depends on the environmental temperature, humidity, and ventilation conditions.

Mixing Ratio: Estimate the material quantity based on the waterproof area. Pour the required amount of Component A into an empty bucket, then add Component B and mix thoroughly according to the specified ratio before use.

Storage and Transportation: Prevent collision or damage to the packaging during storage and transportation. Store at a temperature no higher than 40°C.
